~~A Day in a VR Hospital

VR hospitals can be used in conjunction with traditional training to provide situations that extends the regular training. Not only that the students can participate from projects from home or abroad. Many fields can benefit from this training, especially nursing. Hospital plans for real hospitals can be tested in a hospital simulation.

A nursing student can have a two hour shift where he would:

• Admits patents to patient floor
• Puts patients in available room
• Reads orders and starts chart
• Relays orders to technicians for xrays, blood draws, special diets, ect
• Makes rounds to all assigned patients, giving medicine and checking vitals
• Responds to situations
• Gives oral report to next nurse

Other hospital department training could include:

• Surgery
• Transport
• Radiology
• Lab
• Pharmacy
• Nutrition
• Housekeeping
• Rehab
